Center Jack Eichel recorded a hat trick and the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Minnesota Wild 5-1 on Tuesday at Xcel Energy Center.

Eichel’s fifth career hat trick helped him reach 90 points this season and led the Knights to their fourth straight win. Brett Howden scored his 20th goal of the season, while goaltender Adin Hill made 21 saves.

Defenseman Shea Theodore got an assist in his return to the lineup after missing 14 games with a broken wrist. It was Theodore’s 500th NHL game.

The Knights (43-20-8) were missing defenseman Alex Pietrangelo, who is out with a lower-body injury and is considered day to day.

Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 31 saves in his final regular-season start against his former team. Fleury is expected to retire at the end of the season.
