Stefon Diggs returns to Patriots practice after video on boat goes viral

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, one of the New England Patriots’ highest-profile offseason additions, returned to organized team activities practices Monday at Gillette Stadium.
The four-time Pro Bowl selection wasn’t present for practice last week after a video surfaced on the internet with him on a boat during Memorial Day Weekend, passing out an unknown pink substance to a group of women.
Diggs ran onto the practice fields Monday, telling the media, “Nice to see you,” before participating in a limited capacity as he continues to recover from a torn ACL suffered midway through the 2024 season.
“He’s here today, and we’re excited to have an opportunity to work with the guys that are out here and available to us,” offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said Monday before practice when asked about Diggs missing practice the week before. “So I know he’s staying up on the information, the material. And there’s so many things and opportunities for us to teach all our guys going forward, between the rest of the practices here in the spring and then going into the summer and the many days we have before we actually kick the ball off in September. So, I’m not concerned about Steph in that regard.”
Diggs went through individual drills with wide receivers but did not participate in 11-on-11s, staying off to the side to continue rehabbing his knee.
