'FIGHT OR FLIGHT'

Rated R for strong bloody violence, language throughout and some drug material.

What it’s about: A washed up Secret Service agent has to protect a hacker from a plane full of assassins.

The kid attractor factor: This is a hyperviolent action film for adults only. Not any appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Trust no one but your instincts.

Violence: Extreme hyper, bloody violence of all manner — shooting, stabbing, fighting, etc.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: None

Drugs: References to drugs and on-screen drug use (hallucinogens).

Parents’ advisory: Too violent for kids. This one is for adults only.

'CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD'

 

Rated R for bloody horror violence, language throughout and teen drinking.

What it’s about: A crazed killer clown terrorizes a group of teens in this slasher movie.

The kid attractor factor: Teens might be drawn to the genre.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Pranks are never worth it.

Violence: Extreme bloody violence — mostly stabbing and chainsawing.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: Kissing and intimate scenes between teens.

Drugs: Teen drinking, vaping and references to smoking marijuana.

Parents’ advisory: Too violent for kids, OK for teens.
