NEW YORK — Ahead of the presidential election, Stevie Wonder is hitting the road for a 10-city tour next month to promote his new politically charged song “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart.”

Kicking off Oct. 8, the tour will play Madison Square Garden on Oct. 10 before visiting major cities in battleground states including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin. The tour concludes Oct. 30 in Grand Rapids.

Tickets went on sale Friday at noon.

According to the announcement, the tour is a call for “joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.”

As a “special thank you,” the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will be offering a designated amount of complimentary tickets “to those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.”

Wonder released “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart” on Aug. 30, following his rousing performance at the 2024 Democratic National Convention on Aug. 21.

“Now is the moment to understand where we are and what it will take to win: win the broken hearts, win the disenchanted, win the angry spirits — now is the time,” the 74-year-old told the massive crowd at Chicago’s United Center.

“This is the moment to remember when you tell your children where you were and what you did … We must choose courage over complacency. It is time to get up and go vote!” he said before launching into his 1973 classic “Higher Ground.”
