With only two months left to go until his day in court, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ defense team just took a hit.

One of the embattled rapper’s lawyers has quit.

Anthony Ricco filed a motion to withdraw Thursday in New York Federal Court.

“Although I have provided Sean Combs with the high level of legal representation expected by the court, under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as counsel,” the Harlem native’s filing said, citing citing attorney-client privilege.

Ricco, whose resume includes the World Trade Center bombing case, made the decision “respectfully but regrettably,” court papers note.

Combs awaits his May 5 trial in MDC in Brooklyn on numerous charges, including sex abuse, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The Bad Boys Records founder, who has pleaded not guilty, still has five other lawyers, including Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, the daughter of famed celeb attorney Mark Geragos, who has represented the likes of Scott Peterson, Michael Jackson and Chris Brown.

An insider close to the situation told Deadline that Combs — who has been repeatedly denied bail and house arrest — is fighting an uphill battle and that his key players are in disarray.

“It’s become a real sh—show, they’re desperate to not go to trial,” the source said. “They’re throwing everything at the wall and praying something sticks.”
